When you partner with Seasons Home Watch, you're entrusting us with one of your most important assets—your home. We monitor the interior and exterior of your house on a bi-monthly or weekly basis. If you prefer, we can conduct reviews many times a week. We work with you to develop a list of items to be reviewed and tasks to be performed.
We email a report to you after each review. If we encounter any surprises, we include pictures.
Basic Outside Inspection
- Walk around the home looking for damage, including missing siding or downspouts that aren't attached to the gutter system
- Enure that all storage sheds are closed and locked
- Ensure that driveway has been plowed and sidewalks have been shoveled
- Ensure that the lawn has been mowed
- Look for trees or bushes that are down
- Ensure that garbage cans and recycling bins are properly stored
- Start and run automobiles
- Bring in the mail
- Pick up any garbage or stray items on the property
Basic Internal Inspection
- Ensure that all doors and windows are locked
- Flush all toilets and run all faucets
- Ensure that the house temperature is at an acceptable level
- Visual check for plumbing leaks and water damage on ceilings and windows
- Ensure that the sump pump is working properly
- Ensure that no water is collecting around the water softener or sump pump
- Change furnace filters each quarter
- Check and reset any tripped circuits
- Monitor refrigerators and freezers
- Water plants
